How we began:
On February 1, 1982,
Jeremiah Peters opened the doors to
The Friends Lumber, Inc.
With his outstanding leadership and knowledge
of the industry, in which he had over 35 years of
experience, Jerry created a thriving business with a
strong family feel.
In 1987, Jerry's son,
David, and his daughter, Nancy along with the support of
his wife Eleanor (Miss Elly) took over the business.
In a world where the personal touch is lacking, you can
still find it at Friends!
Our dedicated staff is a
valuable asset to our company. We pride ourselves
on courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable service.
Jeremiah Peters' motto is used daily,: "We do whatever
it takes!" With that attitude in a competitive market
place, we continue to grow and evolve into a unique
operation.
